Hi folks

1990 disco tdi

my suspension is sagging badly on the rear in general mainly on the o/s so have decided it is time for a suspension overhaul

paddocks have bearmach h/d springs(2"lift) and procomp es9000 shocks at £228+vat and poly bush set @ £51

have any of you got these fitted and what do you think....are there better quality with a 2" lift for a similar price, I know that if money is no object then there are obviously better systems around

also do I need to get a matched set or are they no longer ds/ps

don't want to fit them and still have a lean....:/

The truck is to be used 60/40 on/off road and clearance is an issue atm also drags a lot of weight 3500kg trailer

is the bush kit on there worth fitting, some of the rubber under the truck has perished beyond a usable state and the rest is just showing its age and miles (132k)

Thanx in advance

Okay then,

I have a 1" lift kit from Scorpian Racing and a set of Ploybush Blue's fitted. I'm going to put a 2" kit on shortly as my 31x10.5R15 MT's still rub a bit on full articulation.

Polybush Blue give the same ride as the OE rubber bushes but are easier to fit.
The ES 9000 shocks are okay, I had them on an old Rangie and they were good both on & off road, the Bearmach springs I'm not sure of as I've not had them. But I was looking at them to replace the Scorpion springs so I'd be interested in your experiences if you get them. ;)

thanx m8, was a tossup between the scorpion or bearmach ones, think I've decided on the bearmach, mainly cos of the price and the es9000's seem to rate quite well

I'll be ordering them along with some other bits an pieces tommorrow. I'll keep you updated

Just noticed from your profile ur from stornoway :) , my dad lives there, well a few miles out anyway

Tis nice, tho only been in december and february, so probably not seen it at its best :/
