Just out of interest, what kind of price is LPG in your area? In Doncaster it is 29.9 in Morrisons and the small garage opposite.
just a couple of miles down the road it is 36.5 and 37.9, And some as high as 39.9,which is 33% higher than Morrisons. Now i know the big boys can buy in bulk but someone is making a hell of a lot of money here aren't they?

Bu99er, I pay 37.9p a litre. I looked at our local Morrsions in Derby, but they don't sell it...

I dunno how your pound system works with the smaller amounts but I pay AUD$0.35 for lpg. If I did the conversion right it works out to be GBP0.14, does that work out to 14p?

I did hear of a friend of a friend of a friend who had an extension pipe plumbed into his household LPG supply & bought from where-ever the suitable valves, hose & nozzle.
He fills up his motor-home, Shogun & Jaguar with Calor Gas at 10-15p(?) a litre.

Obviously very naughty indeed, due to the duty rates involved.

39.9 at Glasgow Airport. I think it's about 32 at Tebay services though.

I paid .098 GBP today ( 23.9cents Australian) per litre for LPG today, the pump price was 27.9 cents per litre but I had a supermarket voucher that gives me an extra 4cents off the pump price. That is Melbourne wide at the moment. It does vary upto 15 cents a litre weekly, usually high on weekends, up to 39.9 cents per litre .
If we spend more than $30 AUD (12.39 GBP) at particular supermarkets for grocery supplies we get a discount fuel voucher to save 4 cents off the pump price upto a 100 litre of fuel be it petrol or LPG.
We don't call it the Lucky country for nothing.

Prices over here in Norfolk are from 36.9p. per ltr. to 41p.per ltr. If you buy in bulk from Calor the price is 34p. per ltr. which makes it not worth it as the cost of tank rental is approx. £50 per quater year.

Anyone know where you can buy a transfer pump now ? as all the dealers seem to have stopped selling them.(Not CE marked it would seem).

Cheers

just out of curiosity, how often do you guys run your cars on petrol. The gas manual with mine says 'run it on petrol regularly for half an hour, once a week for example' but that could mean anything. I travel around 500 kms per week, is once a week enough? Should I do it once for every tank full of gas I put in maybe?>?
