1999 TD5. Test Book is giving Driver Demand 1 out of range - in the idle position it shows 0.82 volts (range 1) and 4.20 volts at range (2) giving a total of 5.02 volts when the ECM expects exactly 5 volts. The problem is probably in the wiring , has anyone had this one before?

The other message is that all five injectors (1-5) output drive peak charge is too long. This seems to be a an ECU issue. Has anyone knowledge of this particular fault code? Would also like to obtain the ECM pin details for both connectors on the ECM (they are on the RAVE CD for the P38 Range Rover but nothing apart from a wiring diagram for the TD5) the pin details give - pin number, description, input/output, Voltage - would be very useful!

Looks like the problem is solved! I fitted and programmed a new ECU and she fired up (after a bit of fiddling about). will now see if its a five minute wonder as happened with the repaired ECU. But on this new ECU it runs a lot better, throttle response is also better.
:yay:
