View Full Version : Stupid Questions Will Abound

Hello All ;)

I've got a BMW 1200 GS Adventure  Great bike but too cold at this time of year.

A mate on the GS forums invited me on a trip to Morocco and I would've been passenger in another vehicle on the trip (an L200). This other guy had to drop out (wife got the heave ho, he sold up, got his Class 1 licence and moved to Canada:biggrin:).

So....still keen to do this trip and sick of the car getting stuck in the lightest dusting of snow, I've made the firm decision to get a Landy (oh... and I got permission from herself beforehand as well ).

Done a bit of offroading in an airportable and HM very generously paid me some beer vouchers to do it as well, but that was quite a while ago. Truck driver to trade and diesel/petrol head to boot.

Blah di blah. I'm sure there's loads of very helpful information on here and I'll do my best to upset everyone with stupid questions that have been asked hundreds of times before.

All the best,

POG :beers:

How the hell did you work that one out ??

Wouldn't let me register as POG, so....

If the man with all the buttons can fix that for me, then that'd be great ;)

Strangely enough, I was considering a D-E-F-E-N-D-E-R.

I have my beady little bawbles on the lookout for a 90, hard top or county, with 300TDi or TD5...wise choice or not

Dealer prices seem to be in an alternative plane of reality for used cars. So looking at Fleabay and Wautotwader.

Thanks for the welcome :)

We don't have a POG in the members list, although there is a possibility someone registered as POG but hasn't posted yet.
