View Full Version : Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel and 200 Tdi

My mate has just had 1000 litres of diesel put into his farmyard tank (the white tank, not the red) and has just read the delivery note stating "1000 litres of Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel".

He just wanted normal diesel as he has had for the last 40 years.

Will our 200Tdis run OK on this stuff or is it a major problem. Is it low on lubricating properties and if so can an additive sort the problem?

The ultra low sulphur diesel has other additives in it to replace the sulphur taken out. It is the same stuff as "city diesel" and alike! Your 200tdi will run just fine on it.
