Does anyone know how to solve the problem with my TD5 immobiliser.
The key dosn't arm or disarm using key remote its as if theirs no communication with key.
I have disarmed the vehicle on the 'key to door lock sequence' with key code and key remote still dosn't work, I have the Nanocom does anyone know how to reprogram keys to vehicle.
Only one key by the sound of it? First thing to do is change the battery - cr2032 I think. If you've got in using the EKA approach, and got the car running, shortly after you switch off the engine immobiliser will activate. If you can then restart with the ignition key, the key must be sending the right messages to the BCU via the ignition switch. So your problem is probably not with programming but with either the fob sender, or the receiver - conveniently positioned behind the headlining just ahead of the rear sunroof. I've heard they can suffer from condensation causing bad earths. Sadly I've got no idea whether nanacom can help in reprogramming keys - maybe I'll get one for Christmas! Good luck Jon

Thanks Jon I have 2 keys changed both batteries but what did happen aweek ago I took my caravan in for repair and as I went to drive of from the place the immobiliser triggered of. Called AA and they towed me up the road then the immobiliser kicked back in, it was due to a nearby phone mask the AA man had a tool that tests the signal very common he said.
Could it just be a matter of reprograming.
There have been a few threads here and on other forums about stray radio transmissions causing havoc, but I dont recall seeing any where the problem didn't go away once the car was away from the radio source. A bit of searching might throw up some more ideas. Maybe reprogramming is the answer - but don't be surprised if it isn't! And in the short term I suggest you get the caravan repairer to deliver the van!! Good luck, Jon

I've taken me caravan back home now so I can try and sort the immobiliser out.
I have connected the nanocom but not sure what to do, it does read our key code then you've got other sections for out settings, key bar codes & key codes with emty boxes so maybe some one else could also help.

both key fobs not working? did the red LED light on the key fob come on when you press the buttons? if this is the case, then probably key fob circuit board is dead. both my key fobs died that way, one after another within a span of 1 month. bought another key fob from LR dealer at ridiculous prices as usual.

Im not sure but that's possible but both keys are lighting up and also the nanocom when doing a key to immobiliser test is saying communication is ok.
