Hi Sean,

Here are the photos of the flares on my Disco.

This is the front arch that has been trimmed and ready for the new flare. You have to remove the inner plastic arch liner and take about 3" off the arch.

They are easy to fit and took me a day to do all four, painting was done later.
They are made in Oz and sold in the UK by Devon 4x4, they are not cheap but allow you fit larger tyres and they look good too.

Hope you don't mind me butting in, but a cheap alternative is Defender flares.

The tyres are 33x12.50's, I'm not too sure how much it's been lifted as it was like this when I bought it. I keep looking for a standard one to measure against to find out.

If you fancy crawling under yours and measuring the spring length with the weight of the vehicle on, I'll do the same and the diffrence should be the ammount of lift !

Mine has a set of Scorpion Racing +1" springs, standard length DeCarbon gas shocks with the rear shocker mountings on the chassis dropped 2".
The tyres in the photos are 265x70R15's but I run 31x10.5R15's for offroad. The 31" tyres just rub the inner arches now so will be putting a 2" kit on it before too long.

The flares are over £200 from Devon 4x4, are made of fiberglass with a black gel-coal, they need a little sanding to match the curve of the bodywork and you need to drill the holes for the retaining screws. I didn't use the screw that were supplied, instead I used stainless ones.

I've also fitted a set of Pro-spacers to increase the track width which makes the ride better, you don't loose steering lock with wider tyres and it look better with the flares fitted.

Total cost: Wouldn't like to tink!!! :p
