Hello and welcome, I am also in Cornwall, between Truro and Falmouth.

When I'm not doing my Masters up in Reading, I live just outside Garras on the other side of Helston. Nice part of the world, much nicer than Reading!

Have you discovered any decent green lanes? There's one just down the road from me which nobody seems to know about, but it's been waterlogged all summer and is still totally sodden, so I've not attempted it yet.

I live in Bissoe, near to Carnon Downs/Playing Place, apart from in term time when I'm in Bath.
There's only a few short ones around my area, not much to shout about! However there is an excellent pay & play about 3 minutes from my house :) which I've been to a couple of times. If there are some decent lanes around your area we will have to go laning in the summer when things have dried out and we don't have uni work on?

Definitely - I'll keep an eye out for decent lanes. I've been reluctant to do too much exploring, because I currently have no means of recovering myself if I get stuck, and the prospect of phoning my dad and asking him to assist me in his Mondeo isn't particularly appealing.
