roll bar u bolts

hi all
i,m davefrom wiltshire. could anyone tell me where i can get 4 u bolts to go aroun my chassis thru the floor of my disco to bolt in some mounting plates for a roll bar i,m making.

Hi Dave,

From personal experience, you would be a LOT better off, fabricating a couple of outriggers on the chassis, cutting a hole in the floor and welding the roll bar to the outrigger below.

Seal / close the hole with a rubber square (circular hole in middle) and / or silicone sealant.

Don't attach the roll bar to the inside of the vehicle as your chassis moves independent to the upper body.

I did mine this way, for a full internal cage and it met MSA Scrutineering requirements for stage rallying, no problem.

I might even have a couple of pics if you are interested but I would need to dig deep to find them.
