 Hi Folks,
I'm new to the forum, but wondered if anyone could offer advice. I have had my 02 Freelander TD4 for over 6 years now (and very pleased with it, 90K miles +) but I now think the battery (original one still fitted) is finally on its way out. Despite some long treks, on starting the lights fade when I turn the heater fan on! This stops after the engine has been running for a few minutes and everything returns to normal.
I stopped main dealer servicing after the manufacturer's warranty expired.
So I was wondering what is the best value replacement, does anyone have any recommendations?
Any advice will be much appreciated. I want to take action before it finally gives up and fails to start.
