Tail cluster lights not working

Can someone please help me with an electrical problem! I have just noticed my red tail lights (the round ones) do not light up. The tail lights in the bumper are fine. The stop light in the arm is also working. I have checked the bulbs in the cluster (swapped the reverse bulb for the one below ones) and all the fuses inside the car, they are all working.
The car is a 2001 freelander TD4
Any ideas anyone before I get more points on my licence?

Have you misunderstood how the lights on the back work?

Bumper - rear lights and brake lights, flashers
Body - rear fogs, reverse.

Check your handbook for confirmation.

Panic over.........thanks for that. All lights working correctly. Loose connection on my left rear foglight. Driving Licence can remain unchanged for now.
