I just bought an IRD off ebay. Has done 9500 miles since it was rebuilt by Adventure 4X4. I have had a quick look at it and the oil seems clear of anything silvery grey and there isnt much back lash when I turn it.
Is there anything else I should look at before fitting it?
Can I take the pinion out to check it? I am assuming I can just pull it out and pop it back in?
