Hi, i bought a td5 disco 51 plate 6 weeks ago, and yesterday, a wonderful person infront of my decided to suddenly turn with no indication leaving me to slam my anchors on and do up the back of him, and another go up the back of me. The other two cars had no damage, but mine different story. Luckily the insurance will sort it but not until monday at least, so just want some advice. Well the first bit i don't need advice on, when i hit him, my bumper has hit him and its totally smashed, so that willbe replaced, but the other part, i left if overnight, and the back of the car is near enough sitting on the floor, and i don't know what has happened. the car that went up the back only clipped the tow ball, so that hasn't caused at, anyone know what may have caused the back to just drop. If you need a picture of it i can supply one of them, and any other details you may want just ask.

I find even jacking up mine upsets it ! Once you,ve started it up with all the doors closed the airbags will reinlflate - it should be fine after that , if not you may have a leaking bag
Hope this helps

thats what i'm hoping it is, if there is anything else, hopefully the garage doing the repair for the insurance will find it.

If its still on its original airsprings theyre probably due for renewal anyway - just fitted a pair to my own today - dead easy.:)

If you say there is very little damagw to the back end then its probably not connected. The most likely items are as others have mentioned the air springs leaking or there are 2 hight sensors (1 each side) these can fail and cause all sorts of strange things to happen. Lawson
