Where would this be located? Im looking at doing an on board air conversion and need to know if I can get an aircon pump bolted onto my engine.. Cheers!

On a 3.9 just left of and below the alternator.

Bugga.. thats where my Alternator / remote oil filter live. Is that just and idler to the right of the dizzy? Maybe I could mount one there, were they ever fitted there?

Im an ac engineer - never done a v8 tho ! - the ac compressor in theory can be mounted anywhere - diifferent makers mount them all over the place - its a constantly spinning drive with an electric clutch - as long as your hydraulic pipes reach the only other problem would be physically mounting the b*gger !
