Seen kit before and I dont hink it was worth watching again.
What a bad impression of greenlaning it gives.

Three two seat Spitfires - at the same time? I thought there was only one - the ex-Billy Butlin machine now owned by a woman pilot. And I had an idea the Confederate Air Force has one as well, but three? In the same bit of sky at the same time?
I hadn't seen that edition. :)

It caused a lot of uproar 1st time around because it plays into the hands of the people that want lanes closing down.
To someone sitting at home that doesn't have a 4x4 it must look like fun.
To someone sitting at home with a Chelsea tractor it must look like fun and possibly tempt them into trying it and tearing up someones field/footpath/greenlane.
To someone sitting at home watching it that owns 4x4's and uses them off road, it seems that it could have been done a whole lot better for all concerned.
I am not a Clarkson hater, i love most things that he does and i share a lot of his views, i just wish that they had chosen to do this feature a bit better.

It wasn't a great advert for responsible green laning. But thats how most anti 4x4 people see us anyhow so doub't it would have done any more harm..

Ah come on, its top gear! What were you expecting? Everythings fair game for them (geddit, fair game, hunting??!! ah well). Besides, I doubt there's many ramblers watching top gear. Sorry, I just think top gears the best thing on tv by far!

Could tell it was on private land, however, I thought bluebells were endangered, or at least under some protection, i.e. can't pick them, but he drove over loads, I'm not a tree hugger, but.. lol :o Perhaps you can pick bluebells on private land???
Anywho, was a bit of fun, with plenty of rough video cutting to allow the landy to tow that thing out of the many holes it fell in, prob Hammonds own 110!

i think clarksons a bit of a tool to be fair.
tearing up green lanes , driving like a complete asre , even when he drove his pick up to the north pole he managed to spill fuel everywhere and he even tried to smash his car up. because thats what we want to see , abandoned smashed up cars ****ing out fuel everywhere ,littering the northern polar regions innit Jeremy..
he has no concernes with the enviroment whatsoever , if anything , he is very set againstthe so called 'tree hugging'' approach to envoromental issues.
the man is a tool.

I like the top gear "I'm a young, old man" uniform of suit jacket with jeans, a shirt and shoes. :D
Jeans and a shirt = going clubbing (Possibly fighting later, definately gonna be eating kebabs) :D
Suit = going to/coming from work, hatchings, matchings, despatchings.
:D :D :D
