Hi
Just trying to find out if any of you guys know anywhere that hire LR/ LWB Defenders or Disco's or any other large 4x4 ??
We have been let down with one vehicle !!! and now have no support back up vehicle for our Charity Trip up across the Arctic Circle from Cardiff Dover through France Belgium Holland Germany Denmark Sweden and Norway and on up to Alta , Nordkapp , Kirknenes and then across in to Russia and back down through Finland to Tallin , Estiona and home via Latvia Poland Germany France and back to Cardiff
Lots of firms Hire 4x4 and defenders but they do not understand the needs of a full month on the road in the Scandinavian conditions, soft tires compounds and Studded tires, fuel in extreme cold and the cab heating needs etc
Need to find some thing quick going on March the 8th 09 !! I have been ringing all the off road 4x4 places i can for days now !! to see if any of the guys will hire me a suitable vehicle !! willing to pay £ 1800 or more if needed to make this trip happen for the kids we are raising money for, will need it for a months hire ! will do around 5,500 miles prob !!
Any help to enable us to get this Charity project back on the road would be very welcome guys
The Vehicle need to be in good order and capable of doing this trip as breaking down in -20 conditions and deep snow is not a good idear when 3 of us have disability ! "" you just carnt bloody push in 20" of snow en Ice ! lol
