Got my MOT on the 16th and I need a small (mini, minor?) washer bottle and bracket ASAP.
My Landy one wont fit after fitting the LPG a good while ago:rolleyes:

I would normally mate but the scrappies around here are full of modern cars. You just never see old stuff in there, never have in 15 year

Buy a small washer motor and attach it to a container that holds water - easy peasy. I have got a washer motor in the shed if you are passing - I am just down the A580 at Ellenbrook (or Worsley if you want to be posh)

Do you need a washer bottle for the MOT on a series? I thought you were exempt from that test if you had a folding windscreen?

Yeah for a 1980 S3
I didn't know that. If that's the case I'd probably have to uninstall them though?

Not quite Si, we would have to test the operation of the screen, it must open and close. If it doesn't, washers must work.

Having the ability to be opened doesn't count.

That was the bit I wasn't sure on... (remember I only did MOTs on Saturdays!)
