I know the chances of finding one a little more than winning the Lottery but has anyone a 100% mint SWB rear tub for sale ?
I've bought several in the past only to find hidden corrosion, filler, replaced panels etc so this time will say from the start I'm only interested in an original, unrepaired, no filler, absolutley no corrosion etc item.
Steel crossmembers, floor & cappings unimportant and a few dings acceptable.

Cheers.
I was told Blanchards has new tubs - but on phoning them was told they only have LWB.
Don't think they will sell many though as price is £2950 + vat

Thanks but it's in a similar condition as the one I've already got.
My health isn't very good and I'm limited what i can do a lot of the time so I'm trying to build an absolute perfect SWB so all I will have to do is maintain rather then repair in the future. That means most steel parts will be galv'd leaving the alloy as the main aspect that is going to be difficult to stop corrosion. Using a mint rear tub would be a far better starting point than one which is already starting to suffer.
Now I've found I can get new, albeit pattern, rear wings then repairing mine isn't going to be as difficult as patching the originals.
