Hi
Not sure on the gauge, but the same thickness as a wire coat hanger is the maximum thickness. Thank you for the offer of mild/stainless but I need brass. Does you firm have that aswell?
Cheers

We only use the mild and stainless stuff, but whe just buy it in from our supplier.. If they do brass stuff I will pass their details on..Probably have to buy a bit more than 6 inches though. I will let you know though :)

I shoot black powder pistols. I do not fire it with a full charge, only half charge. To pack out the chamber, I use an inert powder, to measure the powder I have a .45 brass cartridge. I need to make a small handle for the brass cartridge, so I don't get the powder over fingers. I was hoping to bend the brass wire round the cartridge to make the handle.

Hi, this it the type of thing I am looking for. The handle is made into hooks both sides so it hooks on to the container. Do you think you can help?

If you want brass looking, how about 2.5 or 3mm brazing rod.
