brilliant tyre
had them on my range rover in all the snow and were awsome and still very very good in the normal road conditions (dry or wet)
will be a set going on my disco this week (and my tyress still have 5/6mm left but still putting these at2,s on)
also heard of people getting in excess of 60k out of them:eek:

you can get a set of 4 for £293 delivered http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m26b0s229p11262
and fitting is usually £10 per tyre (some places also charge disposal of your old ones that adds on too so you could spend £50 on fitting!)
so yeah they aint ripping you off also it keeps your local tyres company going and if you have a problem with a tyre (it goes out of shape/splits etc etc rare but not unheard of) they will be much more helpfull than a face less internet company in my finding
so i would pay the bit extra to be honest and get them supplied and fitted for £351

Great tyres, I had a set on 18" wheels on my '03, they were still looking performing well after 50K miles. The original factory tyres only managed 20K!

Just fitted a set on my D2 255/55/18,much better ride quality than the Wranglers I had on previously,no diference in road noise, road holding good wet or dry,and off road they are in a diferent league.:D
Definately recomend them.

how do they compare with BFG ATs? anyone had both?

maxtherotti

i had bfg at,s a looong time ago and grabber at2,s recently so time has clouded my memory a bit but given the price difference i would have the grabbers.

i am NOT saying they are a better tyre than the bfg (in fact im sure the bfg is better wearing and poss a bit stronger) but at approx £30 per tyre l dont think the bfg is that much better!!

some hankook tyres are quite good but they never seem to last long (3.5k on the back of my bmw 740i sport but that car had a hard life lol)
i know personally of people who have got 50k + out of the at2,s
im putting 5 on my disco this week

Just put 4 new tyres on my D2, 255/55/18's. Originally had Wranglers HP's all round, I replaced these with the same again on the front at 28000 and the rears at 29000 with a pair of AT2's. I will be interested to see how they compare, I would think that the At2's will be the best bet in the long run. (Both cost exactly the same £250 the pair fitted, although I did get a good price on the new Wranglers)
