Hi guyes out laning on Sunday clutch pedal went streight to the floor tried it again and it was hard no pedal at all. Any surgestions had been through deep water going to have a look at it tomoz you guyes might have had this happen before its is a 1991 disco 200 2.5tdi

any fluid in the system? maybe slave or master cylinder leaking?

ghanged fluid still the same when you press pedal it goes dow 2or3 ins then is solid will not go any more pedal goes up and down perfect when bleeding it so it think must be in the box somewhere

ya mine done that and i had to change master and slave cylinder.:(
had a leak on the slave which i changed and then the master went at same time :confused: but all ok now .:biggrin::biggrin:

If the pedal went to the floor, came up, then went solid, the clutch release arm has worn through the pivot.

Box out.

or cut through the bellhousing and rivet a plate over afterwards :eek:

So THATS why my new pandy has a piece of chequerplate rivetted on!!!!

yup, only really matters if you go in mud and water, but could be siliconed up

Loose bellhousing bolts could have similar effect!
