Considering an replacement used or recon EU3 td5 engine instead of my poor damaged '99 EU2 td5; what compatibility problems are there.
As far as i can see, the head is different so mounting brackets might be a problem if I get a bare engine: is that right?
The EU3 uses a cat, mine has none, but are the exhaust manifold dimensions the same?
I guess that the EMU/ECU might be programmed differently but still startable?
