off to longleat this weekend with the misses and we are going to take the discovery, i'm just a little bit paranoid of the monkeys taking bits off.
any one done it or got any advice?
I'm tempted to take the wipers off, fold the mirrors in. any thing else?

Don't bother prepping - the monkey jungle is closed until further notice: see http://www.longleat.co.uk/

It probably will be busy as it's half term, you're going on the weekend, and parents will be sick to death of being at home wih the kids! It's not always bumper to bumper but tends to be like that during the holidays. Just don't forget you can pull over if you want and allow other people past.

Don't leave a roof tent on unless it's a Maggi, and they'll try to have the spare wheel cover away - maybe best that it's closed, ha ha.
Ahhhh but they are sweet though, yeah?

I think last time we went we had to take off the spare wheel cover at the entrance and put it in the boot. A roof tent full of monkeys sounds like a bit of fun though - perhaps smuggle one home in it!

Yeah the girl on the gate told me that I should remove the cover from the tent, she didn't know what it was. She said, "All that will have to come off the roof" I explained it was a tent so she said that I should take the cover off, ha ha.
I have to say though, the monkeys did chew two holes in the cover, but because some pillock stopped in the middle of the road so I couldn't move away, you are meant to stop on the left and leave the right side clear for those not wanting to stop. Of course you can't use the horn cos that is a distress call for help from the wardens.
