hi all having been reading about poor shifting r380 gearboxes and mine not shifing quite as smooth as i would like (but its 100% better since the clutch and half the shifter mech replaced) im thinking about putting some gear additive in with the new oil thats going in next week (mtf94 only)
does anyone have any experiance of using these??
any one have recommendations for what one to use and where to find it?
thanks rob

You don't need additives with MTF but if you want something better get a synthetic oil.

I use this in my engine and it can also be used in manual gearboxes.

its zinc dialkyldithiophosphate a standard additive to most EP oils such as ep90 GL4 ( not GL5)
you are just adding more so it should not harm the gearbox...coats metal to metal contact surfices with zinc
when racing Motor Bikes i used to coat the bearing with it instead off SAE30
