A mate of mine got a CB that he has never used and asked if i wanted it.
Might as well put it in the disco for a giggle but now i'm stuck.
I dont know where to put it.

Any one got any ideas?

Do you have a cubby box? Mines mounted on the side of the cubby in my series. Out of sight of thieves and easily accessible from the driver seat.

yeah but dont think it be wide enouth.
could put it on the side of the seat near the door. out of site and in easy reach but i can't see the display.
dont think it would matter.

As you probably noticed on Sunday mine is stuffed down between passenger seat and gearbox tunnel,nice snugg fit and out of the way.Easy fit too with no tools required!:D

Hey it works!
Had the same thoughts as you,tried under dash,tried up in the top cubby holes,then stuffed it in by seat for another day and didnt see the point in moving it anymore

Exactly where mine is! sit's on the seat adjustment and sort of squished in by the padding :)

You can get quick release mounts for CBs. Just slide it out for security when your done.

I think down the side of the seat is the best idea yet. i might go with that.
I need to know the side of it 1st i think. lol

mine is screwed to the tunnel on the drivers side just in front of the seat.
You can hide it all u like but the big ariel on the roof is a bit of a giveaway.

Got my CB in the bay where the sunroof control panel is (was). My landy aint got a s/rf so it's fits snug without affecting anything. Got a 3ft spring base aerial on back right hand corner above top rear door hinge.

Mine is slim enough to fit in above drivers side sun visor shelf - when not used I just remove my mic and have a small black plate that hides it

The electrics for the sunroofs are up there if you have the roofs or not and i just used that for power Its not fastended in just held in place between the shelf and roof lining. Can hear the speak fine

dont think it will fit above the sun visor. even tho i do like the idea.
might end up being on the tunnel

I fitted the cb in to the storage box so its all hidden and mounted the aerial on the front bumber where the head light washer goes.
its only a temp messure will i get a better aerial and mounting bracket but it should do.
