Not much life in this place, doesn't anyone have a Disco?
Or perhaps everyones Discovery is running perfectly and with no problems!!!!!
Mine has a clunk when changing gear or setting off. I am blaming the A frame ball joint because I daren't think about mainshaft wear.

My 110 had a clunk when setting off or changing gear until today. This morning it had a clunk, rumble, crash, bang, bang, bang, bang. I stopped and looked underneath, the rear UJ on the front prop had let go big time. Luckily it hadn't done any real damage. Took me 20 minutes of swearing to get the front unbolted so I could drive over to my friendly local independent where I borrowed an angle grinder to remove the remaining bolts, fitted a new prop and got him to fit a new tube in the front offdside tyre which had managed to pick up a nail on the way there.

All in all quite an eventful day.

Propshaft? UJ? Anglegrinder? Innertube? Pfff! That's nothing compared to the evening I had drinking cappucino at Vickys with the gal herself and the youngest daughter.:p

Tam, I'm afraid some of us do have Disco's that's why we don't have much time online, it's spent phoning for prices for parts. Anybody know where I can get a fuel pump for a '92 v8i at a sensible (to me) price? Prices so far are £128 + vat upwards. Anybody need a fuel pump for a v8i, with the push on fittings and square connecting plug (3.9?) , bought in error and never fitted.
