Alternator for 200tdi defender needed urgently!

My alternator's gone again and i'm in no financial situation to pay for a new one at the moment so if anyones got a working alternator for a 200tdi defender i'd be forever grateful! So long as its got the 3 pin connector block on the back it'll fit. Needs to be north eastern area too if poss please. Much appreciated - i need the landy back on the road by saturday at the latest :o Thank you very very much in advance

Where abouts are you? Im up to Newcastle on Thursday and will be at a bit of a loose end thursday night if you want me to take a look?

Pleeeeeeeeeeeease PM me your phone number!:D That'd be fab if you could mate, even better if you could come across an alt on the way:rolleyes: Yep this is my third now!:( :( I went proper off roading for the first time since June and managed to bu99er the alt. had it off today, cleaned and put back on but its still not charging!

Sorted - just needed the belt tightening up a bit more, more than i could manage after spending 7 hours bent over the engine bay:rolleyes: cleaning the alternator seemed to make it work though - which is good:D
