Hi folks
Looking for a flex plate for a Torqueflite (flight) 3 Speed Auto box
Needs to be in A1 condition as it's gonna get hammered!

Can't help with the flexplate, don't have torqueflite anymore. Do have a copy of the Chrysler service manual for it and a new sump gasket should you need 'em. I gave my brake band adjusting tool to Bob a while back.

Tis not actually for me it's for Mad Malcy Millar. I am posted this on his behalf.
I'll ask him see if he want's the manual and a gasket.
Looks like these boxes were used in most yank tanks throughout the 70's anyway so I don't think we are going to struggle with it.
cheers anyway

True, however............................
The version used in the early auto Range Rovers is not the same as that found in Chrysler Imperials etc etc etc. It has less discs in the clutch packs and thinner brake bands, and IIRC the ratios are different. This was done as the 3.5 Rover V8 of the time was rather puny compared to the Chrysler engines that the box was designed to mate with. You have been warned........ It IS possible to knacker one of these, contrary to popular belief. I managed it recovering a certain lens based practitioner who now resides in Derbyshire.

the little chrysler stuff had a 904 torqueflite, maybe thats what you have?

Without a doubt, the box in 3 speed auto Range Rovers is a 727, but NOT the same 727 as found in Imperials etc. It was a bit of a one off for Land Rover, you can however easily uprate it to be the good ole 727.
