Dear all I've got a 2000 TD5 ES
Hoping some of you proper Landie boy's could steer me in the right direction ???? as I'm stumped :o(
My baby had a loss of power on hills so I saw on a thread on the site that said to look for oil on the underside of the ECU, red wiring loom. Which I did & yes it was soaking in black gold ! the plug too.
I've cleaned up the plug pretty well & let the ECU drain for a hour & got mabye a tablespoon out, now I've put it all back together put the unit back in, reconnected the neg/earth terminal. Gone to start , the dash lights up like the starship Enterprise , my hazard lights start flashing & it wont start !!!!! Pleeease HELP ??? what have I done ???
