I have a disco 2 which i purchased from a main dealer at the end of november last year.It had brand new wrangler tyres on.
How ever yesterday i picked a nail up in the back tyre.So had to call into my local kwitfit cost a fair bit.
He advised me my front tyres had 7mm tread on the outside and 5mm on the inside. He thought that the tracking was out.
I have spoke to my landrover agent i perchased the disco off he wants to charge me £75 to do the tracking i have only done 4k miles since buying the bloody disco been back twice for minor repairs. What's peoples thoughts

Cheaper to buy a 'Trackrite' drive over track checker and do it yourself.
It shows how much your tracking is out by in degrees rather than what degrees toe the are. I've had one a few years and its paid for itself over and over, It's good for a ton driving over it so ok for Landy.
Think mine was 60 quid from 'Frost'.

I got mine done for £30 at a non Land Rover place. As far as I can gather the alignment is pretty basic on these, as only the front wheels have any adjustment. Mine was also wearing more on the inside. Any competent alignment place should be able to do it.

Cheers

Would second landowner - have been using a Trakrite for a number of years and its proven to be accurate .
I set quite a few cars for family members etc which were going for their NCT ( Irish car test ) and the results were impressive.
Some of the rollers went AWOL - I contacted Trakrite to purchase replacements ; they sent them out FOC - very generous .

or could it be the camber angle from a worm swivel bottom bearing?
