My reversing light doesn't work, hasn't in about 5 years. (200tdi LT77).
I'm pretty sure the bulbs/fuse are ok, where is the switch for it?
Thanks.

The reverse light switch is on the top of the gearbox. Sometimes they just need adjusting, other times replacement.
Best access is by taking out the centre console and attacking from above. New switch costs about £5, so maybe get one in stock before you start??
Good luck

To be honest it takes about 15mins to completely strip out the centre console, two mins to change and test the new switch and 15mins to put everything back together.
If you need instructions pm me.
Cheers

I wondered if this was a common thing, on my previous Disco, reverse lights only worked if you held the gear firmly in reverse!

It takes me longer to get in from the top as I had to drill out the pop rivets holding in the rubber barrier/gater. you can check the switch from below by carefully pulling off the connectors and connecting them together. If the reversing lights work it is a switch fault. Remember they are adjustable. iI that doesn't work trace back to under the bonet where this link joins the main harness on the bulkhead on passenger side and try connecting the wires there to see if lights work. In mine I had a duff wire between here and the swich.
