Help, Auto S&M lights flashing, non-start

Hope someone can help... took delivery today of an 03 td5 auto, been starting fine all day, get it home, giving it a clean, when locking the horn sounded (didnt think it had done this before), now when I try and start it, nothing happens, doesnt turn over, but the S & M (Sport & Manual) lights flash on the dash. Have I done something or pressed something?, or have I got a problem? hope someone can help

No its not stupid, I had to double check and double check again... it's definitley in park... but does nothing other than these two S&M gear lights flashing

Did you buy it private or from a dealer?

The main problem is water dripping from the passenger side aircon drain, onto the WXYZ switch, they corrode and the engine either won't start or the selection goes up the wall.

Try locking it and leave for a while to see if it resets the ECU. If not you need garage help.

Lawson or Jonv8 cn probably advise you.

Go under the passenger side and look up on the side of the gearbox about 12" behind the engine. A white quadrant shape with wires to it. Above that is a rubber drainpipe.
