Can anyone help? Tappet noise appered about 6 weeks ago on R/H bank of engine, only appears when at normal running temp and at tick over,
When the revs are increased to 1200 rpm the noise disappears.
Have flushed the engine and changed the oil, running 10-40 semi syn.
Replaced all the lifters, checked the cam but still the same.
Sorry if this old question but unable to find an answer as most say to change the lifters, which i have done.
