Advice on folding mirrors

Hi, over the last week in have had problems with the folding door mirrors on my 03 TD4, sometimes both will not fold, then one folds & the other stays out, then they both work again. Any advice would be great, i hope its a commom fault & easily repaired.

AFAIK this is just another 'one of those things' that Freelanders do.
Mine do it about once a month. I just wiggle the switch a few times and then they operate as normal.

Thanks for the reply, it sound like a switch problem & not a faulty mirror motor. So if it is a switch it would easier to replace.

I can't remember the wording of it in the destructions, but it's something like.....

If the motors get warm, they won't work til they cool down.

So, if it has been warm near you then that could be the cause.

When it happens on mine, it is when i have folded/unfolded them a ouple of times in a short space of time.
Impatience is what normally kills mine.... they don't work, so i keep trying.
Just give them a minute or two and they should be fine
