My rear bushes are looking a bit knackerd. Have looked around and found different types of poly bush kit - Normal , off road or comfort.

Now I like to green lane regularly ( love happy valley) and play site very occasionally and just use the car to run the kids around town in. I am not sure which is the best to get. Any recommendations ?

My disco sits on bearmach HD blue sprigns with standard height dampers and 265/75/16 tyres. The affect of stronger springs and tyres makes it sit about 1.5" higher. Now I havent needed castor corrected arms or extended brake pipes as the dampers stop the coils dislocating.

I wonderd if I should get the castor corrected bushes in case I ever upgrade the suspension or if the mods I have done already have shortend the life of my current bushes (they look original on a 1996 with 112k on the clock).

Would the castor corrected bushes have an adverse affect on my disco in the state its setup at the moment ?

Any advice welcome

The caster angle is already affected by your 1.5" of lift.
Imagine this, your body/chassis has lifted away from the axles with the help of your springs, this has altered the angle the front axle sits at, because you have also lifted the back end of the front radius arms, which lifts the rear end of the axle, effectively twisting it forwards more,
Your front wheels whilst steering, pivot on the swivel pins, now your wheels are still pivoting on the pins but they are at a different angle than before, this being the castor angle!

As far as bushes go,go for standard ones or bearmach blue
Genuine Polybush bushes are not spectacular
Britpart and deflex bushes are utter shat
