I'll check the parts list on Thursday: I think that the 3.9 and 4.0 engines use the same pistons: Bore and stroke are same but I know that the crankshaft main bearings are bigger.
I have a set of 3.9s on con-rods from a 4.2 upgrade I did.

Ok, I really need about 3 or 4 I am not shure how many are damaged but let me know price for the complete set and we start from there, thanks.

Juan,
Bad news is that the pistons are not the same.
These engines are no longer in production so parts are getting scarce. There is a UK supplier with some original equipment ones in stock but is only selling in sets of 8 with rings for around £200 GBP. Which looks to be a very good deal. They are standard size: Not oversize.
Shipping is going to be costly too!

Don't know if same as yours but look here http://turner-engineering.co.uk/html/V8engineparts.html#4.0V8 The woman I talked to is a Landy owners dream, she is a world of knowledge:)

That looks pretty fair and 4 x that price is bound to be cheaper than £200 GBP.
The Turner ones are ERR5553 which are HC and the ones I saw are ERR5555 which are LC.
Need to read-off the CR from the engine. From what I can find there are only 2 CR versions:
42D*****A = 9.35:1 CR (High)
44D*****A = 8.20:1 CR (Low)

Ok I checked with the lady on the site you recomended me and the set is about 200LB thats around 300 dollars us, It is a fair number but I still to check how many pistons the truck have damaged, I believe they overheated the truck and one or more pistons shrinked and they are knoquing at idle. AthlanticBritish.com has them for about 99 usd each. I Have also some parts from a wreched Disco 1 1996 for sale.

thanks
