The wipers wont turn off when you put them intermittent and they don't park right is it a fault in the stalk or a motor. . ?

It's a fault on the motor and a well-known one.

You need to remove it and get your soldering iron out.

They can usually be repaired with a bit of soldering.

Do a search for windscreen wiper problems.
