Can anybody PM me a known route for North/Mid Wales.
I've got the following OS Landranger maps :
116 Denbigh & Colwyn Bay
124 Porthmadog & Dolgellau
125 Bala & Lake Vyrnwy
I would prefer an easyish route for 3 vehicles. Thanks.

I have been out all weekend, but if noone else has sent you one let me know and I can get one sorted in the week.

Thanks Paul
Your the first to reply! Just wanted something that would last a full day - with out being to challanging. I love the wayfarer but feel as though I'm over using it!
If i remember correctly you were one of the team who repaired/installed the sleepers?

Yes I was one of them :) I will sort it out in the week.
But there are lots of others in that area.

I can provide you with a whole day route in the Dolgellau OS map area if wish on a variety of interesting, but not too challenging, terrain. Some of the lanes used are quite popular, others less so. I have very recently driven all of it (solo) in my Series 2. Lots of gates to open & close though!! Let me know if you want me to PM the details to you.

Two points to note on the route I sent you.
1. Forestry work on Ffordd Ddu at SH 636 114. The lane isn't closed but you could be delayed if a lorry is loading timber from the stacks. Also the timber is being lugged out southwards along the lane itself. Beware of forestry lorries on this section - they think they've got the road all to themselves!
2. Happy Valley. Also drove this last weekend and it's a bit more eroded and consequently a bit rockier/ rougher in places than it was last Autumn, presumably due to both traffic and natural erosion over the winter. It's difficult to assess someone else's meaning of "an easyish route", but if you don't fancy carrying on beyond the col at SH 645 000 (it doesn't get any less difficult beyond this point), you can turn around here and pick up the route again (via a tarmaced diversion) at Dyffryn-Gwyn farm.
The rest of the route is fine. Hope you have a good time. :)
