Hello, If anyone has any spare chicken wire or similar wire netting etc in the Milton Keynes, Bucks, Beds or surrounding area can you pm me. Beer tokens will be given as payment :D:D

I am looking for approx 30meters to build a fence to enclose my allotment to keep the pesky wabbits at bay !!!:p

if you end up buying new go to focus they had some 15m rolls for £13 which was cheaper than all the usuall suspects

I paid £8 per 10metre roll 2 weeks ago.

Maybe granny and eggs, but fold the bottom over and outwards about 8" flat to the gorund. So if they dig outside the fence they hit the wire and give up.

Will Chicken wire be up to keeping rabbits out? I know it's no good against foxes and rats.

Weldmesh is better but more expensive. Hills of Devon are a good supplier, very prompt delivery.

thanks chaps, I have found a 50 metre roll for £30 which i though was quite reasonable so have decided to go for that and if that donesn't keep em out then the next idea is a shotgun :D:D

Top man Matt ,never thought of that ,only prob is the poor old duffer that passes my allotment every day to get to his:eek: ,i just know he will use mine as a stop off point to get his breath back ...... lean against the fence and i will find him rolling round on my carrotts and strawberries clutching his chest :D:D and it would be funny;) PMSL.

But i may just try that as the sado's that are real alotty enthusiasts dont want me shooting the little bugers,they say its cruel:rolleyes::rolleyes:.
