Quick intro, just joined the site
I already own a '58 series 2, which I along with two friends pulled out of a shed 18months ago, and brought back to life as a joint project.
It needed a lot of chassis and panel repair, out riggers, bulkhead a complete brake and steering overhaul, new springs, a load of rewiring.......new headlights, a set of wheels and tyres oh and a coat of paint! But including buying it, it owes us £1200, which is a bargain IMO!
I'll get some better pictures posted, but here she is in mid repair.
90210
she's about to recieve a prima engine conversion, I say about, we have then engine.....just need time to do the work!
This was my our experience with working on a landy, and we loved it, so now I'm hooked!
I'm now looking for a nice original defender 90 300TDi to replace my 06 Peugoet expert van. The wife thinks I'm nuts
