Hi Everyone hops someone can help with my 3 questions they are leaving me scratching my head at the moment (and I don't need to loose any more hair!)

Disco 95 300Tdi
Q1: Central locking not working: Is there a relay for the central locking of are the controls from the ECU?
I have checked the drivers door lock micro switch and there is not a problem there?
Q2 Electric windows same as above does the control unit do it all or is there a separate relay to check? Back windows do not work but front are okay?
Q3 Where is the connector for the tow bar wiring?

1. If you have a two button fob then there's a seperate control unit , with a single button fob it's part of the alarm ecu. The master c/l actuator in the drivers door controls the c/l for all doors so check that.
2. There is a ecu to look after both front and rear windows, a common prob is the dry joints on the PCB just a touch with a soldering iron is required to fix.
3. Behind the rear o/s light fitting is/or should be a connector.

Hi Thanks
Is there any way to prove the C/L Actuator? Can you link it out?
Regards John

No, if you remove the door card you will see it and you can move the operating rod by hand to see if it working sometimes the actuator needs just a slight adjustment on it's mounting screws and thats all for it to work properly.
