Disco lights problem

Hi all

I'm no bright spark when it comes to fixing things and electrics just confuse me (all puns intended). But I've got a funny thing going on with my interior lights. It would seem that they have now decided to stop working, but every time I open the door the clock goes off, close the door and the clock comes back on but reset. Also the constant live to the radio goes off when the door opens. Now I don't have a wiring diagram (or a clue). It's a 1993 5 door TDi.

So all ideas and thoughts welcome, but please keep it simple, it's a small brain you're dealing with.

Does it happen with ALL doors being opened/closed or just the driver's door?

I've tried it tonight and it would seem that all the doors do it.

Solved the problem. It turns out that a temperamental fuse was the cause. I had to swap out all the fuses to find it as it had blown on the leg not in the view space. Still troubled that when it went and you open the door the clock goes off. But things could be worse.
