As above,
let me know if you have one; don't need the rest of the dash, just the speedo.
Ta,
Martin.

Is it different to the SWB one for any reason??
I think we have one at the factory, out of a Landy that our youngest son bought and scrapped. I'll grab it tomorrowe and compare with the one in his Series III.

Hi Peter,
it is different, the gearing is set up internally for the larger tyre size fitted to the LWB's as standard.
The way to check (I think) is to look at the wee numbers in the bottom right corner of the dial. 1504 for a SWB, 1408 for a LWB - though others may point out errors?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Martin.

OK, I'll check and post back just around 9am, can probably post a pic as well.
The bits and pieces he has are from assorted Landies, so you have a chance of it being right.

There's a good article on Series Speedos here (http://users.mrbean.net.au/%7Erover/selectin.htm) It explains all of the differences between various LWB and SWB speedos.

Not sure if this is going to help, the number is 1376 and it's a Jaeger instrument, so might be from a Series II
Reading that article above, it is a III as it has the 'Idiot Lights', but you'll have to translate that rev's per turn number, it also has the clip-on speedo cable fitting.

The Speedo in my SWB is marked 1536, the LWB speedo I have that I'm going to fit is marked 1408, I would guess that 1376 is a LWB speedo as it is close to 1408.
Using the formula on the website I linked to before if the speedo turns per mile is 1376 it translates to a wheel/tyre diameter of 31 inches so should definatlely be a LWB one.
