Hi All...anyone tried this yet.

I have downloaded and tried to burn an ISO image with the software recommended by microsoft.

It gets part way through and then just gives up giving a burn error.

I have tried burning at slower speeds...just gets a bit further before wasting another dvd.

I have downloaded it and have to say it burned no problem, perhaps you have a corruption with the file??

I have literally just done a full install with the RC7 and have to say that so far im enjoying the experience.

Time will tell.

Regards,

Kev.

My only gripe with it so far is IE8, i really dont like it, so ive chosen to use apple safari, and its the dogs danglies.......why couldnt microsoft have come up with something as slick as that???

Have to say though, im well impressed with the functionality of RC7, it beats Vista hands down on everything as far as im concerned.

Beats vista, hands down.....I dont have any problems with IE8 but have to say...I am using google chrome with win7. It seems to be very quick.

I used to use firefox with speed dial. That just seems to be completey crap now. I do really miss the speed dial though.

I like it so far. It's like Vista but with all the problems ironed out.

I'll change to it when it's released.

OK.

Time for the all-time complete and utter stupid question.:o

Pc's are to me, like women. I use them, but don't understand how they work.

I'm (unfortunately) running Vista on my laptop.
If I download the rc version of 7, do I have to remmove Vista, or is that a choice that pops up during downloading?

I use Firefox - will 7 rc work together with it?

Can someone give the download link?
