I put the back seat down yesterday and when I lifted it back up again the latch seems to have moved and won't let the seat lock back into position.
The latch seems to be in the locked position but pressing the release button doesn't do anything.
Has anyone had this happen before?

Chris.

No, then I never put my back seats down. May be the spring has come adrift, looks like you will have to take the panel off to find out.

Make sure the seat-belt buckles havnt moved & are stopping the seats going fully into position?....this has happend to me in the past...

Where the seat locks into position ,theres a catch which has probably turned the other way, what I did with mine is get a hammer & whack it back so its facing the rear seats ! Then wd40 it.

Chris.

As daft as this sounds, have you tried pulling the latch while pushing the release button down? The release button doesn't actually move the latch, it just unlocks it.

Hope this Helps

That sounds like what's happened.
I tried forcing it back by hand but it wouldn't budge.
Maybe it just needs a good whack!

Checked that and the seat is definately down and hitting the catch but the catch is in the wrong position.

Tried that and no luck.
I'll see if the hammer method works!
