Hi all,
AAARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH, I have been having problems with the courtesy lights on my 99 Disco 2 V8. They never used to come on when I plipped the key, opened the door, or turned the ignition off. This is despite having the front and rear switches set to the middle. The other night, I got in from a late shift, switched the ignition off and low and behold...the coutesy lights illuminated! I was amazed, having had all of the door panels off to see if I could see the problem, asking for advise off this fantastic forum, searching my manuals and scratching my head, the problem seemed to rectify itself.
Sadly, last night, I got home, and it was service as normal, with a twist. I have now gained 'follow you home' headlamps.....I did at first think I was being kidnapped by aliens, given that I was drowned in a mass of bluey white tinged with yellow light, ( I have no street lighting where I live),but joking aside, this has never worked before, to the point where I did not think it was fitted to my car!
Any ideas please?
