clicking relays

there is a relay in the drivers side fusebox of my disco 1 300tdi its round and the only one there! recently it has been clicking away for no reason without any obvious effect to the vehicle! anyone know what its for?

Heated rear window relay may be. DJP8473L

My Disco 1 also clicks away like mad... its a little black relay box that goes absolutely mental whenever the key is in the on position.
