Any ideas guys?
I had a completely flat battery pretty much overnight.
Replaced this a new battery & now that is dead overnight also.
No switches were left on. No internal lights on etc.
Any ideas?
Had a new osf window regulator fitted 2 weeks ago but if that was at fault I would of thougt it would of gone dead first time sooner....

Check the condition of the alternator connections particularly the main positive cable/terminal......:)
Greetings,
An 'Amp-clamp' will give you a good idea of what's draining the battery. If you can obtain one, put it round a main battery cable and it will show current flow either to or from the battery. With everything turned off you would expect no more than approx 0.1 amps drain (ECU/clock/radio memories etc) if the drain is excessive e.g. 0.5 Amps or more you can disconnect the alternator and pull out fuses until you find the faulty circuit. If you can't obtain an Amp-clamp you could connect a multimeter (set on amps) in series between a battery cable and its battery post which would give a result but you lose radio codes etc. One of the main culprits in these situations is a shorted diode within the alternator. A very simple test would be to disconnect the alternator overnight and see if things improve next day.
Warning:There are dangers attached with some of these procedures so unless you're confident please consult an Auto-electrician.
Cheers.D..

Thanks guys.
Hade the RAC out today.
It turns out it was fuse F5 under the bonnet.
Apparently the pre-heater was draining the power...
He took the fuse out & said it will be ok...
