Evening all,
I have a small problem with the Freelander. After a couple of days it won't start. I just get the clicks and the dash lights turning off when it does click.
Some quick at a glance info.

Battery indicates 12V on my analogue multimeter
Battery indicator light is a nice bright healthy green
Battery was replaced at Christmas

Could it be the starter or something else?

Cheers all,

Noel.

Check battery and engine earths, and starter motor connections.
I would have thought that the battery should show about 13.5v?

Thanks very much,
I looked at those this morning, all sound. I then went and borrowed a digital multimeter off a neighbour (mine's analogue from the Kit Car days). The alternator looks like it needs a look at.
Jumped the car, no extra voltage in the battery with it running.

Thanks very much,

Noel
