Yes they do come off easy, .....but.....you say you have the roof rack, so according to the handbook you shoudl remove the roof rack to remove the hardback.

I have only ever taken mine off once, and did it without removing the rack, but it was awkward.

ive also got a 3 door td4 sport with roof rails and by luck i took my sunroof out for the first time this week....

firstly, you dont need to take your roof rails off at all,the sunroof panels just unclip by pressing some red buttons in the hand clips and go back in just as quick...1 minute max!

sorry my last post was a bit unclear.

roof panels - off easy, no need to touch roof rack
roof - not so easy with roof rack in situ. I did it once, but it was awkward

thanks for the info how long have you had your sport and have you had any problems thanks:)

had the sport about 3 years now and no problems other than routine replacements etc.

excellent car,my best car purchaase yet.the handling and ride are brilliant for a 4wd and i couldnt wish for a more practical car to suit my needs(other than a five door version perhaps).

my only problem will be when i have to replace it,the new one has too small a boot and is very expensive, maybe a jeep patriot or grand vitara....ill have to see as i dont want to leave the landy ranks;)
